Terms & Conditions

The app's Terms of Use · last updated 12 September 2026

The short version: your receipts are yours and they stay on your phone. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you cancel through Apple, not through us. Sheetsnap reads receipts with a machine, so check what it read before you file your accounts on it.

The rest is the agreement. It is between you and Asieuzzaman Wasir (“we”, “us”), who makes Sheetsnap. By downloading or using the app you agree to it. If you do not, delete the app.

Apple's own terms apply as well, and they are linked in section 10.

1. Your licence to use Sheetsnap

Sheetsnap is licensed to you, not sold. The licence itself is granted under Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (section 10): a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

On top of that, you may not sell, rent or redistribute the app; reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble it except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded; or use it to build a competing product.

2. Your content is yours

Your receipts, photographs, columns and exported files are yours. We claim no ownership of them and no licence to use them beyond processing a receipt at the moment you ask us to, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for keeping your own records. Everything is stored on your device: we have no copy, so we cannot restore anything for you. If you lose your phone without a backup, your receipts are gone — which is the same fact as “we cannot read what you bought”, seen from the other side. Export regularly.

3. What Sheetsnap does and does not promise

Sheetsnap reads receipts using automated text recognition and AI models. That is not the same as a person reading them.

4. Subscriptions

Sheetsnap is free to use. Photographing receipts, reading them on your own device, typing them in by hand and every export are unlimited on every plan, including free. A paid plan raises two limits: how many sets of columns you can keep, and how many receipts a month we will read for you.

PlanPriceRenewsColumn setsReceipts read / month
Free$0—115
Pro Monthly$7.99Every monthUnlimited200
Pro Yearly$49.99Every yearUnlimited200
Business Yearly$119.99Every yearUnlimited600

Prices are in US dollars and vary by country. The price you will be charged is the one shown on the upgrade screen in the app before you buy.

Renewal and cancellation

If you stop paying

Nothing is taken away. Your receipts stay on your device, every set of columns you made stays, and every export keeps working. You return to the free tier's limits: 15 receipts read a month, and no new sets of columns beyond the first.

Refunds

Purchases are made through Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something is wrong with the app, tell us as well — we would rather fix it.

Changes to plans and prices

We may change prices or what a plan includes. An existing subscription keeps its price until you cancel it; Apple will notify you of a price increase and ask you to agree before it takes effect.

5. Fair use

The monthly limits are what they say. Please do not try to get around them by automating the app, sharing one account between several people or businesses, or putting receipts through it that are not yours to process. We may suspend an account that does, and we will tell you why where we reasonably can.

6. Availability

Having a receipt read for you needs our servers, and we do not promise they will always be available. Everything else in the app — capture, on-device text recognition, typing values in, the library, the filters and every export — works without us and without any network at all.

We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the service. If we ever shut the reading service down, the app keeps working for everything on that list, and your data is already on your device.

7. Ending this agreement

You may end it at any time by deleting the app. To delete your account and its server-side data as well, use Settings › Delete account first — that deletes the account outright and wipes this device in the same step, and it cannot be undone.

We may end it if you break these terms. Sections 2, 8 and 9 survive.

8. Warranty and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sheetsnap is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or any penalty, interest or professional fee arising from a figure Sheetsnap read incorrectly and you did not check. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100.

9. Your rights as a consumer

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

If you are a consumer, you keep every right the law where you live gives you, and nothing above takes any of it away. These terms deliberately do not name a governing law or a court: consumer protection law applies to you wherever you are, a clause naming somewhere else would not override it, and we would rather not pretend otherwise. You can always bring a claim in the courts of the country you live in.

10. Apple's terms, which also apply

Sheetsnap is distributed through the App Store, so Apple's own agreements apply to it alongside these terms. Where Apple's terms and these ones conflict, Apple's take precedence.

Read Apple's terms

Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement — the standard EULA, and the agreement under which Sheetsnap is actually licensed to you. It is the document to read first.

Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions — covers your App Store purchases, including subscriptions and how billing works.

Two things in Apple's EULA are worth knowing without having to go and find them:

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. If a change is material, the app's release notes will say so.

12. Contact

Questions, complaints and claims go to appsupport.get@gmail.com. A person reads it. See the support page for what to include.
